Fewer young people in treatment for drugs yet more admit to use

Public England reports 5% fall in under-18s in therapy but substance abuse found rising, along with concern at cuts The number of young people in treatment for drug abuse in England has fallen for the ninth successive year, despite a rise in the proportion who admit to using drugs.There were 15,583 under-18s in drug treatment in the year to 31 March 2018, a 5% decrease on the previous year, according to figures from Public Health England.
