The 6hr 39min epic tied the longest game in Fall Classic history by innings and put Los Angeles ahead 2-1 in the best-of-seven tilt.Shohei Ohtani supplied most of the drama before Freeman finished the job. The Dodgers’ two-way superstar homered twice, doubled twice and reached base a playoff-record nine times, becoming the first player in 83 years to do so in any MLB game.
